How to Add Files to a Dataset in SimplAI

After creating a dataset in SimplAI, you can add files from various sources to populate it with data. This step is essential for enabling AI-driven insights and processing.

Steps to Add Files to a Dataset​

1. Open Your Dataset​

  • Navigate to the Dataset section in SimplAI.

  • Select the dataset where you want to add files.

2. Click on + Add File​

  • Locate the + Add File button at the top-right section of the page.

3. Choose a File Upload Method​

SimplAI supports multiple upload options:

  • File Upload: Manually upload files in formats like PDF, CSV, TXT, and more.
  • Direct Link: Fetch data from remote sources such as GitHub or Google Cloud Storage.
  • External Apps: Import data from applications like Slack, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, and Confluence.

4. Complete the Upload Process​

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to upload and process your file.
  • Once uploaded, the file will be processed and indexed for use within SimplAI.

5. Manage Your Files​

  • After uploading, you can view and manage the files within the dataset.
  • You can delete, update, or add more files as needed to refine your dataset.

Your dataset is now enriched with new files, making it ready for AI-powered processing and insights.
