How to Create a Dataset in SimplAI

A dataset in SimplAI is a structured collection of data that forms the foundation for AI-driven applications. You can upload data in various formats or integrate external sources.

Steps to Create a Dataset​

1. Navigate to the Dataset Page​

  • Log in to SimplAI.

  • From the sidebar, navigate to the Dataset section.

2. Create a New Dataset​

  • Click on + Create Dataset in the top-right section of the page.

3. Provide Dataset Details​

  • Enter a Name and Description for easy identification and management. Screen Recording

4. Select Dataset Type​

Choose the dataset type that best fits your data:

  • Document Collection: For unstructured documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT).
  • Structured Data: For table-formatted data (CSV, XLSX, TSV).
  • Structured Data with Linked Files: For datasets with linked files (TAR format).

5. Finalize Dataset Creation​

  • Click Create to complete the dataset setup.

Your dataset is now ready for adding files and further processing.
